    Itinerary

  • DAY 1 - Paro Airport & Transfer Thimphu (65kms)

    • On arrival at Paro Airport, after immigration formalities and baggage collection, you will be met by our representative who will escort you to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan with an en-route stopover at Chuzom, which marks the confluence of Thimphu and Paro rivers. On arrival, in Thimphu check-into the hotel. In the evening, take an exploratory walk in the vicinity. Overnight stay will be arranged at Thimphu.
  • DAY 2 - Sightseeing in Thimphu

    • After a hearty breakfast visit, the Folk Heritage Museum, the Buddha Point, Memorial Chorten and walk the Coronation Park. The National Library is home to ancient manuscripts and modern books while the Takin Preserve plays home to Bhutan's national animal. Later, visit the Textile and Folk Heritage Museums that stands testimony to the traditions of Bhutan. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
  • DAY 3 - Drive from Thimphu to Paro (55 km/approx. 1 hours)

    • After breakfast, drive to Paro. Visit the Ta Dzong which was the watchtower, built to defend Rinpung Dzong and later trail the Rinpung Dzong. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.
  • DAY 4 - Hike to Taktshang Monastery

    • After an early breakfast, get set to hike to the Taktsang Monastery. You will need to take a walk through the pine forest where you will see the beauty of nature. The Tiger's Nest is one of the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries, that's nestled away at the side of a cliff, 900m above the Paro Valley. Overnight in Paro
  • DAY 5 - Depart from Paro

    • After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination. Our representative will help you with exit formalities and then bid you farewell.
